  2. 2Pick how to split it: one PDF per range, all chosen pages in one PDF, or every page separately.
  3. 3Type the pages, such as 1-3, 5, 8-10. Use “8-” to mean page 8 to the end.
  4. 4Tap “Split PDF” and download the file or ZIP.

Extract the pages you need

Need only one chapter of a long PDF, or each page as a separate file for an upload portal? Split PDF pulls out exactly the pages you choose, either into a single new PDF or into several files.

Pages are copied without changes, so text stays searchable and scans keep their original sharpness.

Frequently asked questions

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. Splitting happens in your browser, so the document never leaves your device.

How do I write page ranges?

Separate items with commas. “1-3” means pages 1 to 3, “5” is a single page, “8-” means page 8 to the last page, and “-4” means the first four pages.

Why did I get a ZIP file?

When the result is several PDFs, they’re packed into one ZIP so you can download them together. Open it to get the separate files.

Does splitting reduce quality?

No. Pages are copied exactly as they are, without re-compressing anything.
